Kevin Alvarez Cordova – Director of Photography and Photographer

Kevin Alvarez Cordova is a distinguished director of photography. Renowned for his versatility and adaptability in technique, concepts, and styles. His experience spans a wide range of projects, including feature films, short films, documentaries, commercials, music videos, and live performances.

In 2024, Kevin served as director of photography for Corrosive, a feature film praised by critics for its powerful visual storytelling. That same year, he was the cinematographer for the short film The Box, which earned awards for Best Short Film and Best Cinematography at multiple festivals.

In 2023, his outstanding work on the short film The Sad Son of Lolita earned him the Best Cinematography award at the 48 Hour Film Project in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Additionally, he was the director of photography for the short film Los días, part of the anthology feature Cuentos de un día más, acclaimed for its social themes and visual sensitivity.

Kevin also worked as director of photography on the medium-length film Cazador, a project that received development funding, and on the documentary Al ritmo del son molío, which toured extensively on the international festival circuit.
